Relying on local farms, fisheries and a commitment to the community, 50 Local is downtown Kennebunk's neighborhood establishment. 50 Local presents an outstanding, approachable menu containing many of the traditional dishes offered in French bistros with an American take, served in a comfortable, elegant, & friendly atmosphere.
New for 2017, we are proud to introduce our new Chef, Alex LeBlanc.
Chef Alex LeBlanc is running the show in the kitchen and we could not be happier. Local foodways and traditions steer LeBlanc’s culinary philosophy. He is known for his studied practice in butchery and whole-animal cookery. He brings his skills to bear on our locally sourced, seasonal menus. LeBlanc began his career in Portland, Maine, working at Joe’s Boathouse, and at the famed eatery Caiola’s. He honed his technique at Houston’s Award Winning Underbelly Restaurant. A warm, natural teacher, LeBlanc leads in-house classes and works with his staff to create specialty pop-up dinners. His culinary technique honors the food’s producers, and is marked by an approachable, flavor-forward style.
